These terms apply when you use calman at calman.wykw.it. By creating an account you accept them. calman is in beta: features and prices may change, with notice for anything that affects what you pay.
The service
calman reads calendar links (ICS or webcal) that you add, at the interval of your plan, and publishes private feed links that show those calendars at the level of detail you choose. Calendar apps fetch feeds on their own schedule; Google, for example, only every 12–24 hours. calman cannot make them update sooner.
Your account and your calendars
- One account per person, signed in through links sent to your email address. Keep that inbox secure.
- Only add calendar links you are allowed to read, and only share feeds with people who may see what they contain. You are responsible for the levels of detail you choose.
- Feed links are private but not secret from whoever has them: anyone with a link can read that feed. Replace a link that reached the wrong people; the old one stops working at once.
Acceptable use
Do not use calman to overload, probe or scrape servers, to publish content you have no right to, or to get around the limits of your plan. calman may stop fetching a source that fails repeatedly and may suspend accounts that break these rules, after telling you why where possible.
Plans and payment
- The Free plan costs nothing. Pro costs €5 a month or €48 a year (beta pricing), paid through Stripe.
- Subscriptions renew until you cancel. Cancel any time in Account; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- When Pro ends, nothing is deleted. Feeds and sources beyond the Free limits, and feeds that use busy-only blocks, are paused until you upgrade again or change them to fit Free.
Availability and liability
calman is provided as is, without a guarantee that it is always available or that every calendar can be read. Do not rely on it as the only record of anything important. As far as the law allows, calman's liability is limited to what you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending the service
You can delete your account at any time in Account; this takes effect at once. If calman shuts down, you will get at least 30 days' notice by email and can export your data until then.
